After pumping saltwater or sediment water, clean the pump with clean water and pump clean water for 10 minutes to complete the internal cleaning.


In severe cold weather, the pump body, cylinder head, throttle rocker arm, and inlet and outlet pipes must be drained and cleaned after each use. Remember to drain the water in the engine's water cooling system, otherwise the water-cooled cylinder head or other water storage components may freeze and crack due to freezing caused by severe cold.


The water intake process of the pump must be achieved through a manual water intake pump, and the water intake valve on the pump casing must be closed after the pump enters normal working condition.

Suction port: 2 inches outer, 1.5 inches inner thread.

Water outlet: internal 1.5-inch thread.

Sealing: The impeller is equipped with a self-adjusting ceramic and graphite mechanical seal. The inlet is equipped with an aluminum alloy sealing ring.

Impeller: Fully bronze precision machined impeller for maximum efficiency and corrosion resistance.

Pump casing: Made of highly corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, fixed to the pump seat with 5 bolts, and sealed with O-rings to prevent water leakage. If disassembled, a new product should be replaced.

Pump seat: made of aluminum alloy, with high and low pressure water channels inside to provide cooling and circulating water for the engine. There are fixed installation positions for shock-absorbing adhesive below, and the anti vibration device is fixed on the base bracket.

Water intake pump: a compact copper manual water intake pump. Connect to the pump casing through a quick plug. The water intake pump is a manual piston pump with a one-way valve plate inside, which discharges air from the pump through atmospheric pressure difference, thereby introducing water into the pump casing through the inlet pipe.


The process of starting the pump water is divided into 6 steps:

Arrange equipment; Choose a suitable location near the water source and place the pump, suction and drainage pipes, and fuel tank stably.

Connect water pipes; Tilt the inlet pipe downwards and place it into the water source, ensuring proper filtration and protection, and taking care to avoid inhaling foreign objects such as sand and stones. The suction pipe and drainage pipe must be connected correctly. If there is a leakage point, it will cause difficulty in water diversion and leakage.

Connect the oil pipe; Clean up the foreign objects inside and outside the two joints, otherwise it will cause air leakage, the carburetor will not be able to suck up fuel, or bubbles may enter the fuel pipe, causing difficulty in starting the engine or unstable engine operation. Press down on the diaphragm inside the carburetor side cover with a nylon zip tie, and at the same time, press the fuel pump on the middle section of the fuel pipe to fill the carburetor with fuel. (If you are not used to operating the diaphragm inside the carburetor side cover by pressing it with a nylon cable tie, you can first connect the oil pipe to the quick interface of the water pump oil pipe, remove the air filter from the carburetor, close the choke valve, open the throttle by 1/8, press the start switch, and do not exceed 3 seconds each time, so that the fuel quickly enters the carburetor until there is no air in the oil pipe of the water pump, completing the suction of the water pump. Press the air filter back to the carburetor and enter the starting state of the water pump.)

Hand pump water intake; Insert the pipe of the water diversion hand pump into the water diversion quick connector on the pump casing, and open the valve on the pump casing. Pinch the water outlet hose with a water stop clamp or fold the water outlet hose and seal it with your foot. Continuously pull the water intake pump rod until water is discharged.

Start the engine; Fully or partially close the choke, fix the base bracket with your feet, try to start by hand, open the choke after the engine responds to operation, start again by hand, or press the electric start button until it runs.

Adjust the water outlet; If the water pump fails to establish pressure after the engine is started, it is necessary to use a manual water intake pump again to intake water and exhaust the air inside the pump until the water pump releases water and establishes pressure. Then slowly release the water stop clamp and gradually increase the throttle to complete the pumping process.


Attention: During the start-up operation, do not increase the engine speed by opening the throttle rocker arm until the corresponding pressure is established in the pump. If the engine speed increases but there is no increase in flow or pressure, the throttle opening should be reduced to prevent the engine from idling and damaging components.

Warranty period:

As a manufacturer, Donghai Ruipu DHRUIPU provides customers with brand new water pumps that have undergone a brief break in period before leaving the factory, and offers a 3-year warranty service. Parts corrosion and damage caused by human damage, improper use, and improper maintenance are not covered by free warranty services. Repairs require payment of repair fees and accessory costs.


Repair plan:

During the 3-year warranty period, if the water pump malfunctions or is damaged due to component quality issues, the manufacturer will provide free maintenance or replacement parts. The repair method will be determined by the user or the factory's maintenance technician based on the actual situation, in order to meet the technical specifications as the standard.


Non warranty clause:

For repairs involving the following non warranty clauses, users are required to pay for repair costs and the cost of parts;

Batteries and motor starters are consumable parts that are not covered by the free warranty and require proficient operation;

Damage caused by unauthorized disassembly or modification of the water pump;

Severe overheating leading to piston melting or cylinder pulling, and damage caused by improper use;

Damage caused by impact vibration after loosening of fastening screws of parts and improper maintenance;

Damage caused by corrosion and improper maintenance;

Damage caused by impact, falling, or human factors;

Damage caused by incorrect lubricant model and dosage;

Foreign objects or sand entering the water pump or engine are damage caused by improper use of protective measures;

Component damage caused by water gravity reflux;

Transportation plan:

When obtaining warranty service, the water pump needs to be sent to the factory, and the factory does not bear the round-trip shipping cost.

Anyone is authorized to make any other commitments beyond the above content, and any other commitments or guarantees made by DHRUIPU or its agents cannot be executed. If the seller and the user separately agree on other warranty periods, service content, and sign an agreement, it shall be exclusively executed by the seller and shall not be related to other sellers or the DHRUIPU factory of Donghai Ruipu. DHRUIPU reserves the right to modify this warranty clause, but such modifications do not affect products sold during the effective period of this clause.
